<\/a><\/strong>What are your plans after graduation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/strong>After graduating I will be transferring to Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.\u00a0 Eventually I will get my Doctoral.<\/p>\n What\u2019s your dream job?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>My dream is to do what my mom does, which is labor and delivery.\u00a0 I plan on working as a registered nurse for a while, but ultimately I want to be an OB\/GYN.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>What has been your greatest accomplishment while at TSTC?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>My greatest accomplishment has been picking up my grade-point average.\u00a0 After two semesters of hard work it has gotten a lot better.\u00a0 It\u2019s not where I want it to be yet, but I will get there.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>What greatest lesson have you learned about yourself or life?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>The greatest lesson I\u2019ve learned is to never doubt my abilities, nobody should.\u00a0 We are capable of accomplishing more things than we believe, and we can do anything we set our minds to.<\/p>\n Who at TSTC has influenced your success the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>I can\u2019t single out just one person.\u00a0 The HATSS (Helping a TSTC Student Succeed) program helped me a lot and I gained a lot of useful skills though their workshops.\u00a0 Any questions I had were met with great care by the staff, and they did everything in their power to point me in the right direction.<\/p>\n What is your advice for future TSTC students?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>Aim high and ask questions.\u00a0 Take advantage of everything that TSTC has to offer, and most importantly, don\u2019t ever give up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" (HARLINGEN) – TSTC student Christina M.
